I Would Like To Meet Sarkodie in person – Sarfo Newman

Internet sensation and “Akokoa” hitmaker, Safo Newman has said that seeing Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie is something he craves.

The young musician made this known in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz which Shobiztv.com monitored.

The internet sensation has attributed the success of his viral song “Akokoa” to the rapper’s duet of the song when it was released.

The musician claims he has released numerous songs, with some being better than “Akokoa” but all of them went unheard, however, with the support of Sarkodie his “Akokoa” song has gone viral, making other musicians also jump on it.

According to him, looking at where he was and the public status of the Ghanaian rapper, he never thought this could ever happen to him.

He claims he would love to feature the rapper on the song’s remix to say “Thank you” to him, however, if he does not get that opportunity now but later he has no problem with that.

He added that in his opinion, meeting Sarkodie in person to say a “Thank you” is the only thing he thinks would let the rapper know he appreciates his effort towards the success of his song.

“His duet of my song added volume to it and I can say that even made it go viral. Just meeting him in person and saying thank you will be enough even if a collaboration does not happen soon. I would like to meet him in person,” he said.

The young musician has released a new song dubbed “Valentine” which he dedicated to lovers around the world on the Val’s Day.

Meanwhile, Sarfo Newman in previous interviews has said that many musicians have reached out to him.

According to him, some of these musicians want to collaborate with him whilst others want him to feature them on the remix of his viral “Akokoa” song.

He stated that he has not yet given these musicians positive feedback because he is still p[putting certain factors into consideration.
