Josephine, a young Ghanaian female nurse based in Adeiso in the Eastern Region has provided information on how she established multiple streams of income.
Sharing her testimony at a conference organised by finance expert Obeng Darko, she revealed she have multiple side businesses aside her regular nursing job.
Josephine said she was inspired by the teachings of the renowned finance expert.
Her side hustles include selling banku and tilapia, selling shito, baking bread and renting wheelbarrows. Cumulatively she is able to save GHS100 per day from her side hustles.
She urged women to start entrepreneurship in addition to their regular jobs.
Josephine was appreciative to Mr. Obeng Darko for his nuggets of wisdom.
Josephine’s story inspired many Ghanaians who chanced on it to also share their entrepreneurship journey.
Mr. Kwabena Obeng Darko is a trained engineer, entrepreneur, author and finance expert who always advocates that Africans venture into businesses in order to transform our continent, by starting small with the little they have. Since each and everyone of us spend money daily, he recommends we also find a way to legally make money daily by selling something.
Businesses Mr. Obeng Darko recommends includes farming/agriculture, starting a provision store, mobile money business, taxi business, Uber/Bolt business and starting a business around any pressing problems/needs in our community we can solve.
