Ghanaian artiste manager and entertainment pundit, BullGod, has opened up about his last conversation with Highlife legend Dada KD before his sudden death. He made these revelations during an interview on UTV on Saturday, 17th May, 2025.
According to BullGod, he spoke to Dada KD on the morning of Friday, May 17, 2025, which is the same day the musician sadly passed away. BullGod said the reason for the call was to talk about Dada KD’s visa and an upcoming show in London where he was scheduled to perform with other artists.
Speaking in an interview, BullGod shared that the conversation started off well, and everything seemed fine at first. However, he quickly noticed that Dada KD didn’t sound too well during the call. According to him, the Highlife singer complained that he was not feeling too good.
“He sounded a bit weak, and I could tell he wasn’t in the best health. But we still had a good chat,” BullGod explained. He added that they both agreed to continue the conversation later in the evening to finalize details about the event.
Sadly, that evening call never happened. BullGod was shocked when he received the heartbreaking news that Dada KD had died just hours after their phone call. “I was planning to call him back in the evening, only to be told that he had passed. I was completely broken,” BullGod said.
Dada KD’s death has shocked the nation, especially since he was actively preparing for a major concert in London. Many fans and fellow musicians have taken to social media to express their sorrow and pay tribute to his legacy.
BullGod’s emotional story adds to the growing sadness surrounding the passing of one of Ghana’s most loved Highlife stars. His story shows that sometimes, the signs are there, but no one ever expects death to come so soon.
