A person identifying as Dr. Anne Sansa Daly has been providing medical advice on GhOne Television Network while falsely presenting herself as a qualified medical doctor. However, investigations have revealed that she does not possess any valid credentials to practice medicine in either Ghana or the United States.
It is believed that Dr. Anne Sansa Daly holds a U.S. passport. To expose her alleged fraudulent activities, the Medical and Dental Council (MDC) was petitioned to investigate her qualifications. In response, the MDC, under the signature of Dr. Alex Peasah-Koduah, confirmed that their records do not show Dr. Anne Sansa Daly as a registered medical practitioner.
The council emphasized that she lacks the necessary license to practice medicine or dentistry in Ghana, as required by Sections 29(1), 30, and 48(b) and (d) of the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act, 2013 (Act 857).
Further inquiries with the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) also yielded negative results. Contrary to her claims, checks revealed that Anne Sansa Daly, M.D., is not a diplomate of the ABFM and cannot legally represent herself as such. The ABFM stated: “The information provided does not match our records. We are unable to identify a physician matching the information you have provided.”
Additionally, the ABFM noted discrepancies between the certificate provided by Dr. Daly and those issued by the board, confirming that the certificate was not authentic.
Despite these findings, Dr. Anne Sansa Daly managed to attend a high-profile event, a women’s world conference endorsed and led by then former President and flagbearer of the NDC on June 24, 2024, raising concerns about the lack of due diligence in verifying her credentials.
