The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, has sent a word of advice to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
Speaking to his church members on Sunday, May 25, 2025, the well-known man of God advised the NDC to be cautious now that they are in power.
Prophet Owusu Bempah explained that when a political party wins power, they often forget how difficult it was to get there. According to him, some leaders begin to abuse their power and treat citizens without respect. He warned that this kind of behavior can make the people lose trust in them, which could lead to losing power in future elections.
He reminded the NDC that it is always difficult to regain power once it is lost. Therefore, they must use their time in office wisely and work hard to make life better for Ghanaians. He also advised them not to take the people for granted because voters can easily change their minds.
Prophet Bempah added that if the NDC government performs well and focuses on the needs of the people, Ghanaians will likely reward them with more years in office. “Do the right thing, and the people of Ghana will give you more time to lead,” he said.
The prophet also urged the ruling government to remember that leadership is about service and humility. He said that the power they have today was given to them by the people through the ballot box, and it can be taken away the same way.
His message has attracted public interest, especially because Prophet Owusu Bempah has been known for making bold political statements in the past. Many people are now wondering how the NDC government will respond to his advice.
