A well-known Ghanaian pastor, Prophet Clement Testimony, has made a bold spiritual statement about Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
On Monday, 26th May 2025, Prophet Clement shared a video on his YouTube page. In the video, he said Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has been a great support for the NDC government. He said that Jane Naana has done so well that he believes it is time for her to resign.
He added that from a spiritual point of view, Jane Naana’s time of working closely with President John Dramani Mahama has come to an end. He believes that it is no longer part of God’s plan for her to continue in her current position as Vice President of Ghana. He said that many people are also attacking her spiritually.
The prophet advised Jane Naana to step down from her role as Vice President as soon as possible. However, he made it clear that he was not asking her to leave government completely. He suggested that she should take an advisory role in the government instead. This way, she can still offer her knowledge, experience, and guidance to the leadership of the country.
Prophet Clement Testimony further said that the next person to work closely with Jane Naana should be a man. He believes that this change is important and is what the spirit of God is saying. According to him, a male running mate will help strengthen the leadership and direction of the current government.
This message from the prophet has started many conversations online. While some people agree with him and say it could be true, others think it is just a personal opinion. Many Ghanaians are now waiting to see if Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang or President Mahama will respond to the pastor’s spiritual advice.
