Speaking on United Showbiz, she accused Okraku-Mantey of failing to address key issues affecting the entertainment industry during his tenure. Her comments sparked reactions, with some questioning whether she had a personal issue with the former deputy minister.
Addressing the concerns on Joy Prime’s Changes show, Nana Aba affirmed that her criticism was personal because Okraku-Mantey’s salary was funded by taxpayers, including herself.
“Yes, I have a personal problem with him because if my taxes are used to pay your salary, it’s personal. If my taxes are used to fuel your tank, it’s personal,” she told host Roselyn Felli on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
When asked about her relationship with Okraku-Mantey, she described him as an “acquaintance” and insisted she would tell him the same thing in person.
