Nigerian music star Ayra Starr is set to make her Hollywood debut in Children of Blood and Bone, the film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel.
The fantasy epic, set in a mystical African kingdom, follows a young warrior’s quest to restore magic and overthrow a tyrannical monarchy.
She will star alongside Hollywood icons Viola Davis, Idris Elba, and Cynthia Erivo.
Produced by Lucasfilm, the movie is currently in production and is slated for release in 2027.
