The Managing Director of Ghana Post, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, has officially resigned from his position after serving for over two years.
Obour, who assumed office on January 4, 2022, described his tenure as a transformative period aimed at modernizing Ghana Post into an efficient and customer-focused postal and logistics service provider.
During his leadership, the company made significant progress in digitalization, operational efficiency, brand visibility, and financial sustainability.
In his resignation statement, Obour expressed gratitude to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the opportunity to serve in such a high-capacity role. He also extended appreciation to the then Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, as well as the Board of Directors, management, and staff of Ghana Post for their dedication in driving the company’s growth.
As he steps down to pursue other interests, Obour expressed confidence that the foundation laid during his tenure will propel Ghana Post toward greater success. He also wished the new administration under President John Dramani Mahama well in its governance efforts.
