Popular Ghanaian media personality, Captain Smart, has warmed the hearts of many Ghanaians after sharing a heartfelt tribute and a photo of his biological mother, Madam Aggie on Mother’s Day.
In a long and emotional message posted on his Facebook page on Sunday, 11th May, 2025, Captain Smart described his mother as his “anchor” and “warrior.” He praised her for not only giving birth to him but also guiding him through life with love, strength, and deep spirituality.
According to Captain Smart, his mother went through five days of labor just to bring him into the world. He said she didn’t only fight physically but also spiritually to make sure he came into the world with love and purpose. Her strength, he said, shaped every part of who he is today.
He recalled a very touching story of how his mother nearly drowned while trying to take him to school. That painful memory remains fresh in his mind, showing how much she has always put his needs above her own.
Captain Smart also spoke about the many prayers his mother has said for him, sometimes with tears, always lifting his name before God. He believes he is where he is today not because of luck but because of his mother’s constant prayers and sacrifices.
He praised her for being strong, wise, loving, and spiritually powerful. He said she is a woman whose faith can move mountains and whose love has never failed. He described her as his “first home” and “forever covering.”
One of the things his mother always tells him is, “My son, keep loving. Never stop because of anything or anyone. Do good. You are the principal architect of your own life.” Captain Smart says these words are not just advice but the compass that guides his life.
He ended his tribute by thanking Madam Aggie for all her sacrifices and love, and he promised to always honor her.
