Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), has shared details of an important meeting that took place earlier today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
In a post on his official Facebook page, he revealed that he received a delegation from the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) at the GoldBod office.
According to Mr. Gyamfi, the meeting was part of efforts to build strong partnerships between GoldBod and key players in Ghana’s business community. He said the discussions focused on finding ways the two institutions can work together to promote economic growth and transformation.
The delegation from the GNCCI was led by its President, Mr. Stephan Miezan. Other members of the team included the Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber, Mr. Mark Boadu-Aboagye, National Treasurer Mr. Kabutey Ceaser, a member of GNCCI Mr. Dennis O. Carter, and the Head of Communications, Mr. Peter Atsu Dotse.
Mr. Gyamfi described the meeting as fruitful and productive. He noted that both sides shared ideas on how to improve the gold sector and attract more investments. He added that strengthening ties between GoldBod and the Chamber of Commerce will help create more jobs, support businesses, and boost Ghana’s economy.
He thanked the GNCCI team for their visit and their interest in working closely with GoldBod. He also expressed hope that the collaboration will bring many positive results for the country.
