Farida Mahama, daughter of former President John Mahama and former First Lady Lordina Mahama, is strengthening her role as a compassionate leader through ongoing charity efforts.
Her latest initiative took place at Atua Government Hospital in Odumase Krobo, Eastern Region, where she and her team from the Serenity Community Club (SCC) made a generous donation to aid patients and support hospital operations.
The contributions included everyday essentials such as diapers, toiletries, baby food, sugar, Milo, rice, and cleaning supplies, along with medical equipment like mobile IV stands to improve care delivery.
Farida spent time engaging with patients and healthcare workers, paying special attention to children and mothers. The hospital staff and beneficiaries expressed gratitude for her generosity and personal involvement.
Addressing the media, Farida noted that SCC is now expanding its outreach to health institutions, in addition to its original focus on education. She affirmed her commitment to making a tangible difference in more communities. Before leaving, she shared memorable moments in photos with the hospital team and patients, many of which later circulated on social media to widespread praise.
This event comes after a similar donation at La Polyclinic in the Greater Accra Region. While SCC began with school-based programs, Farida is steering the group toward broader healthcare outreach. Her impactful charitable work continues to gain public admiration, reinforcing her image as a socially conscious youth committed to public service.
