The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has shared a warm message to welcome Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang back to Ghana after her recovery from illness.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang returned home this week after spending several weeks in the United Kingdom for medical treatment. She had fallen ill on March 28, 2025, and was admitted to the University of Ghana Medical Centre before being flown abroad for further care. Since her return, many Ghanaians, including political leaders and ordinary citizens, have shared messages of joy and support.
