LUMI DMR and DogSled Music Group have revealed a signed agreement for a Partnership Distribution and Publishing Deal, allowing the Ghanaian Reggae Afrobeat artist to maintain independence while benefiting from DMG’s extensive global services.
These services encompass distribution, radio promotion, and marketing.Lumi retains ongoing ownership of his masters and publishing rights while simultaneously establishing a team to support his development as an artist and brand.
He aims to launch his new project in January 2025. Currently, Lumi has released a collection of his classic songs, accompanied by music videos, featured in his album “LUMI DMR The Classic Throwbacks.”LUMI DMR has parted ways with his previous team in pursuit of a fresh beginning for 2025.
This choice allows him the freedom to explore innovative ideas and strategize for the future, leading to the creation of new songs, a distinct sound, and various opportunities.
This agreement is mutually beneficial for both parties involved. It grants him complete control over his music, thereby ensuring his creative autonomy. Additionally, this expansion of his brand allows him to mentor other artists, facilitating further growth alongside his DMG team.
