A man named Paulinus who was reported to have been kidnapped last month has been found dead with his head off his body
According to reports, his best friend, Efe Money, conspired with the Chief Priest of Otokutu, Lawrence Joseph, and some other accomplices to kidnap and murder Paulinus for ritual purposes.
According to reports, Efe Money was Paulinus’ only close friend and was also entrusted with managing all his investments.
After orchestrating the crime, Efe Money approached Paulinus’ family and lied that the kidnappers had contacted him to demand a ransom.
Over time, he extorted the family for a total of 20 million naira, pretending to negotiate Paulinus’ release, all while knowing his friend was already dead.
When the case reached CSP Shaba, he and his team of detectives launched a thorough investigation.
Their efforts led to the arrest of Efe Money, Lawrence Joseph, and four others connected to the crime.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to murdering Paulinus and taking his head to the Otokutu shrine while disposing of his body in the river.
When Paulinus’ body floated to the surface three days later, they reportedly paid some boys to tie a block to the corpse and sink it back into the river.
