A judge in Los Angeles has ruled that A$AP Rocky, Rihanna’s partner and father of her children, will stand trial for supposedly shooting a pistol during a dispute with a former friend. The incident, dating back two years, reportedly caused minor injuries to Terell Ephron.

A$AP Rocky denies the charges of firing a handgun and faces potential imprisonment of up to nine years if found guilty. Ephron, known as A$AP Relli, is pursuing legal action, claiming assault, battery, negligence, and emotional distress, seeking damages of at least $25,000.

The case moves forward despite Rocky’s defense team denying his presence in the incriminating video footage. Additionally, this legal battle follows a prior court order for Rocky to maintain a considerable distance from Ephron after a previous altercation. Rocky’s representation in this case is being handled by Joe Tacopina, who also represents Donald Trump in a separate New York civil fraud trial.
