Bayern Munich took no prisoners in a 27-0 thrashing of FC Rottach-Egern in a one-sided friendly match on Tuesday.
The German champions are in Tegernsee for a training camp and played a friendly against a local non-league team ahead of the new season.
And Thomas Tuchel’s team romped to victory, scoring a whopping 27 (!!) goals without reply.
In the third minute, Jamal Musiala opened the scoring. A minute later, Serge Gnabry extended his team’s lead. Alphonso Davies made it 3-0, and Gnabry added another goal to make it 4-0. Musiala added another goal to put Bayern up by five goals.
It was 14-0 after goals by Konrad Laimer, Mathys Tel (x5), Noussair Mazraoui, Dayot Upamecano, and Leroy Sane.
Musiala then completed his hat-trick with two more goals, while Gnabry also scored before halftime.
Bayern lead Rottach-Egern 18-0 at halftime and continued to annihilate them after the break.
Marcel Sabitzer, who was on loan at Manchester United for the second half of last season, scored FIVE goals to make it 23-0.
Raphael Guerreiro, Ryan Gravenberch, and Kingsley Coman all contributed to the 26-0 score.
Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool player, finished the onslaught as the Bundesliga club won 27-0.
Musiala, Gnabry, Tel, and Sabitzer all had hat-tricks. Not terrible practice for the 2023/24 season.
