Albert Serebo Ayeh-Hanson, popularly known by his stage name Ball J Beat, has said that Black Sherif is Ghana’s sure bet to winning the Grammys.
The Ghanaian beat maker/producer indicated that he feels the 2023 VGMA Artiste of the Year could bag a Grammys award because he has all the arsenal he needs.
“Black Sherif is Ghana’s sure bet to win the Grammys because he has the team, distribution, people to back him up, and, most importantly, the right songs,” he said.
Ball J went on to say that Black Sherif has an advantage not just because of his music, but also because of the team he works with, which is one of the reasons he feels the ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ singer will win the prestigious prize. “It’s not just about his music; it’s about the whole entourage.”

Speaking to Aicko & Aiedua on SUN UP on Shobiz TV morning show, the ‘Lapaz Toyota’ producer concluded his comments by claiming that if Black Sherif is not met with any hurdles or impediments, he will undoubtedly be nominated for a Grammy.
“DJ Khaled heard Black Sherif. That’s how far. Ghana has gotten to,” he said.
Ball J used the Shobiz TV Morning show platform to advise all young and upcoming musicians.
“If you want to blow up as a young artiste coming, use social media as the means but remember it is going to have a footprint on your brand and it will stick forever. It is a very nice tool but needs a delicate balance. It’s all about taking your time and getting the right song. It is not just about social media…do your good music but make sure you have the right team and that’s the hard part of it”.
