Singer and actor, Wanlov The Kubolor has shared a piece of advice to the Ghana military regarding the ongoing Niger crisis.
The Ghanaian-Romanian born believes it is at the peril of the Ghanaian military force to risk their lives in going to attack the situation in neighboring Niger.
Wanlov claimed in a video that European manipulation should not be accepted by pitting fellow blacks against each other.
He went on to say that because European conquerors are always abusing people of color, leaping to the front lines to fight fellow Africans is not admirable.
“Chale what’s up this is Kubolor, I get a message to the Ghana Army. I beg you guys waa make you no risk your lives and go fight fellow black people in Niger because you will be fighting for Macron.
“The fact say the leaders for Niger are corrupt that’s why the people decided to overthrow their leader. and so going to fight in Niger will rather be encouraging bad leadership and manipulation by the whites”
Sections of the military planned a coup against Niger’s democratically elected president, Mohamed Bazoum, on 3 August, the country’s National Day, which marked 63 years after the country gained formal independence from France in 1960.
Despite a lengthy and brutal era of decolonization, the Niger problem demonstrates that France retains a quasi-empire in Africa.
