In an interview, Nigerian songwriter, singer, and actress, Simi cleared speculations about romantic involvement with colleague, rapper Falz the bad guy.
The singer clarified that, despite their undeniably amazing connection, their relationship was not particularly romantic in nature.
Speaking on MTV Base Africa, the singer/songwriter said that they first collaborated on the song “JAMB Question Remix,” which received massive airplay and acceptance from the public hence both artists decide to cook another song together.
The Chemistry hitmaker revealed that their creative connection came organically; there were no emotional ties, despite public speculation, so both artists consciously opted to capitalize on their obvious connection, resulting in the release of the album “Chemistry.”
The singer explained that, despite their obvious affinity, their relationship was not romantic in nature.
