Professor Frank Ankobeah, the immediate past president of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), has asked the government to address the worrisome rate at which health professionals are leaving their home countries in search of better opportunities.
The situation, according to Professor Ankobeah, is in crisis and requires immediate attention.
He said that the nurses leaving Ghana had a wealth of experience.
He claimed that although the government is developing hospitals, the endeavor will be ineffective without adequate human resources.
