According to David Twum Tinkorang, General Secretary of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwifery Association (GRNMA), health workers in the country are treated unfairly, resulting in a massive migration to Europe and other continents in search of greener pastures.
Mr Twum Tinkorang claimed that health personnel in Ghana are underpaid, which demoralizes them.
Adding his voice to the “Can Ghana Work? A Critical Look At The Health Sector” he cried that despite no allowance, the health workers pay huge money for hospital bills when they are sick.
