Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel International, has revealed that he once declined a lucrative request to harm Ghana’s current Chief of Staff, Frema Akosua Osei-Opare, using spiritual means.
According to Nigel, this request was made by a prominent member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The individual claimed that he had been assured Frema’s position by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but was passed over.
“One of their people came to me, saying I should pray for him because the current President, Nana Akufo-Addo, had promised him the position…,” he stated during a recent appearance on the Atuu show on UTV, hosted by Abeiku Aggrey Santana.
Nigel explained that this person added a brand-new Range Rover and an amount of GH¢1.6 million as an inducement for the spiritual request.
“He brought a white Range Rover in addition to an amount of GH¢1.6 million, which is equivalent to 1.6 billion in old Ghanaian currency. He came with his bodyguard, who is a soldier,” he said.
Prophet Nigel, who claimed to have witnesses to the incident, stated that the man, who is now deceased, had asked for one of three things, including a prayer to paralyze the Chief of Staff.
He emphasized that, as a man of God, he possessed the power to bless or destroy and chose not to fulfill the man’s request.
“I didn’t do it; I rather encouraged him… He requested one of three things, either to cause the woman to be paralyzed so she couldn’t take up the job,” he explained.
Frema Akosua Osei-Opare served as a Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon from 2005 to 2009. In 2017, upon assuming office, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appointed her as his Chief of Staff, making her the first female to hold the position in Ghana. Her appointment was retained by the president when he won a second term in 2020.
