Killaboi, a Nigerian socialite, has confessed to the murder of his lover, Augusta Osedion, also known as Austa XXO.
In a series of ‘scary’ Instagram confessions, he claimed that his acts were motivated by grief, betrayal, and adultery.
On July 17, 2023, Killaboi revealed the shocking confession on his Instagram page, claiming that he accidently stabbed his partner during a violent dispute.
He expressed shame and guilt in a series of tweets explaining the occurrence, admitting that his emotions and the deceased’s treachery led to his actions.
The 26-year-old socialite expressed tremendous guilt for his acts at such a young age and promised to bring himself in to guarantee that justice is done for his late lover.
He admitted to fleeing the scene of the killing and shared a note he sent to Austa’s distraught mother.
Austa XXO’s mother sought answers from Killaboi’s residence in Oral Estate in the Ikota region of Lagos State following the unfortunate incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the police discovered Austa XXO’s mangled corpse after breaking into Killaboi’s flat through the fence.
Surprisingly, the deceased’s body parts were missing, including her breast, vagina, and eyes, and her car was retrieved at the scene.
Killaboi’s initial arrest over fraud
Prior to this incident, Killaboi was arrested for fraud.
In 2021, he was apprehended by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for carrying out a N150 million point-of-sale (POS) transaction using a stolen card. The authorities arrested him at a hotel in Umuahia, and he was unable to evade capture.
