Mark Okraku Mantey has made a major move to likely become a member of parliament in Ghana.
The NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the next 2024 elections has chosen forms to run in the party’s primaries, according to the deputy minister of tourism, arts, and culture.
The former Hitz FM programs manager said, “Youth of Ayensuano joined me today, to pick up my nomination form at the party office in the constituency to start our journey of transformation,” after picking up the paperwork.
The iconic music producer from Ghana, Mark, who is also well-known, continued, “I will need the help of everyone to achieve this goal of significant progress and enhancement of the lives of our people. I’m grateful.
On a case-by-case basis across the nation, the NPP shall hold its parliamentary primaries for the Orphan Constituencies from Saturday, September 23, 2023, until December 2, 2023.
Mr. Okraku-Mantey will likely face Hon. Samuel Ayeh-Paye, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for the district, in the next parliamentary primaries. Ayeh-Paye has not yet submitted his nominations or received party permission.
Teddy Nana Yaw Addi of the NDC defeated Hon. Samuel Ayeh-Paye of the ruling party to win the Ayensuano seat in the 2020 elections.
