Ghanaian music sensation and dancer, Andrew Nii Commey Otoo, known by the stage Mr Drew, has disclosed why he chose to go bald.
In an interview with Cookie Tee and Naa Ashokor on TV3’s Newday show on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the ‘Case’ hitmaker revealed that he purposefully shaves all the hair on his head since his hairline is receding, and that he does not like his ‘V shape’.
”So my hairline is receding and I don’t like the V shape, so I just shaved everything. If you are not nice you cannot rock a bald head,” he stated.
Mr. Drew is also well-known for his clean-shaven oval-shaped skull, which looks magnificent when he wears spectacles. However, prior to his clean-shaving, commonly known as “sakora” or “santo,” he had some hair that the majority of Ghanaians are unaware of because it was before his soaring to stardom.
Mr. Drew is currently one of Ghana’s top and reigning musicians. He is an Afrobeats artist who rose to prominence after his song “Let me know” went viral.
