Nicki Minaj recently voiced regret regarding her past decision to undergo plastic surgery in an interview discussing her recent Vogue feature. She expressed disbelief that she had ever disliked her natural appearance.
During an episode of Vogue’s The Run-Through podcast, Minaj cautioned about altering one’s body through surgery, suggesting that eventually, individuals might reconsider and realize they were fine as they were initially.

The rapper attributed her change in perspective to motherhood, stating that seeing her son reminded her of her authentic self and prompted her to question why she hadn’t appreciated her natural appearance earlier. Reviewing old photos contributed to her realization that her former self was beautiful.
Minaj has previously discussed her past insecurities, notably feeling inadequate in the hip-hop industry due to comparisons with women who had undergone procedures like the Brazilian butt-lift (BBL). She highlighted the increasing openness among her rap peers, including Cardi B, Doja Cat, Latto, and SZA, who have acknowledged having surgeries while also cautioning fans against excessive alterations.

Currently working on her fifth studio album, “Pink Friday 2,” initially scheduled for release on December 8, Minaj has faced delays but remains committed to its upcoming launch.
