Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was caught training with New Zealand/Nigerian mixed martial arts champion Israel Adesanya in preparation for a cage battle with Elon Musk.
After both American internet billionaires criticized each other, Mark Zuckerberg, whose company owns Facebook and Instagram, just launched Threads, a social networking software to compete with Elon Musk’s Twitter.
While some saw the challenge for an MMA bout as playful banter between the important people, the excitement surrounding this improbable showdown grew as both of them were photographed practicing with MMA fighters.
On Thursday, Adesanya posted images from the session on his Instagram page, saying, “We both have South Africans to deal with.” #saylessdomore #threads #stichemup”l, Adesanya refers to Elon Musk, Zuckerberg’s tech rival, and undefeated middleweight boxer Dricus Du Plessis, whom he would most likely face next.
