Afrobeats queen diva Tiwa Savage, has given single ladies some “valuable” advice.
Tiwa Savage was seen on stage in a video released online encouraging ladies that they should be with guys who can keep up with their financial level.
She stated that it is wonderful for a woman to have her own money and that the male should be able to equal her financial vigor. She further stated that even if the man can match her monetarily, there is still a potential he will emotionally damage her.
Tiwa Savage, an award-winning musician, explained that she is not encouraging women to pursue men solely for their money.
She went on to say that it’s preferable to be sad while carrying fancy designer bags and flying on a private plane to places like Dubai. She highlighted that she is not encouraging for women to seek money from males, but rather for women to achieve their own financial freedom.
In her own words, “I am not encouraging runs, I am not saying you should go after a man for his money. I am just saying it is sweet when he wants to spend his money on you.
“They will still break your heart anyways. So, it is better for you to cry with your Christian Doir, and your Birkin bag and your private jet to Dubai. We have our own money , we are just saying, his money is important and must be eaten.”
‘Runs’ is an act where a person pursues a love interest with the sole purpose of making money out of them.
