The late Nigerian actor, Obinna Nwafor, widely known as Saint Obi, has been laid to rest in his hometown amidst a somber atmosphere.
After months of delays caused by arguments among his family, the actor, who died in May, has finally been buried.
Following a lengthy illness, Saint Obi died at the home of one of his siblings in Jos. Internal family issues, however, caused a delay in officially announcing his death.
Saint Obi’s ultimate burial place was in his birthplace of Alaenyi Ogwa, Imo state, three months after his untimely death.
Photos from his burial show his brothers, friends, and other family members came to say their final goodbyes to the adored actor.
The ceremony was marked by a sense of mourning as those close to him paid their respects to his memory.
